FINALLY! 3rd Kulaa Lumpur Co. has its own blog!
Some of you may be wondering.. why should 3rd KL have a blog? Well, first of all a blog is not a waste of time. It's pretty much a means of recording historic documents informally which would otherwise be handled solely by the company's official website.
One of the main super-advantages of the blog is that it allows boys to contribute ideas in real-time without necessarily going through the 3rd KL website. Articles and postings, formal and informal are welcomed as there is no real restriction using this blog.
Above all, this is a means for YOU, members of 3rd KL to participate more actively in our events. If you're too shy, angry, sad, happy, overjoyed, high, or having any thoughts.. this is the place for it be heard.
I sincerely hope that all members of the company will participate in this scheme which will ultimately lead to a more progressive and cool 3rd KL Co.

Hi! I'm Recruit PEH WIN SHEN and I'm only 14 years old. I was first introduce to BB by my good friend Yi Sheng last year. I was not interested in it but my friend keep on telling me about all the good advantages of joining BB whenever we meet even though I just can't stand it anymore. So, I decided to find out more about BB with my parents at the YMCA. The first Captain that greeted us was Sir Tan Chee Keong. He was very friendly and always smilling. He explained to us what BB was all about. After listening to him my parents was very happy because in BB it teaches us disipline, friendship and most important of all is to be a good person and stay away from all immoral activities. In the end I decided to join BB and that was on the 18/2/06. I have to opportunity to take part in the Recruit Camp which was held at the SMK Taman Desa for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a great experience for me because I learnt a lot of things from this camp. Finally, I would like to thank Sir Voon (Captain) for given me this opportunity to write my blog and I hope that more boys will try to know more about BB at the YMCA and all the good advantages of being one of its' member. Howdy !!! My fellow 3rdKLites,I am Recruit Joshua Yap Meng Wee,I am 13 years old. I am a 5 month old BB member. So far I've enjoyed every moment in BB. At the beginning of the year, my school organises presentaion by various uniform bodies. The Boys Brigade came in first with their band and that caught my attention with their uniform and their performance. After school,I discuss joining BB with my father. He heard this from one of the tuition teacher(MR.TAN)from pathways that it is a good christian organisation. He leave the decision to me. That how I landed in BB. At first meeting ,my father sent me to YMCA to attend the meeting. The first program was opening parade. At the opening parade,I saw my officers were (sir tan,sir- yong,sir ng,sir lawrence,sir joe,sir jason). One of the officer pray and then we sang the anchor song. The first time they sang the anchor song,I do not know what was that and now I know. Next,my office who incharge of me,took my new friend and I to explain to us what is BB. Later,SIR.TAN AND SIR.YONG took us to do drill.AFTER one hour,we had the closeing parade. Again one of the the office prayed for us and we sang another song that was (BB VESPER)song.Later,was the sport time ,I join in too,I played football,vollayball and basketball. After an hour,I went home.I have a good time there.

actually 3rd K.L. BB is very good alr for me but i think they should improve more,such as,all of the senior need to come to every band practice and the recruits need to come to all the dril pratice.So that,we can be the 1st in drill, band or singing competition in the pesta.

Hi~ My name is Yuen Seng ^^..I was a recruit only...I join tis B-B at July 2006..I very interesting to join tis B-B in YMCA..I saw B-B in the drill competition so nice..n the band i very interesting oo..^^ I am Lam Kee recruit , he teach me about B-B history..I hope I learn many from him, he was very kind oo..^^ and many officers was very kind n friendly oo.. After i join tis B-B I really know many friends... They all will help me all the time ^^
I think I have to learn more more n improve more more from all the senior n officers ...
When i reach YMCA tht was a band .. i join too..^^ After opening parade .. We was singing song..I was very enjoy...after drill time .. Ignatius just teach me n another persoon not in a group .... After is drill end, tht was many activiti..such as volleyball, basketball and football...I was very happy and enjoy in every saturday oo^^...
I hope i can join tis B-B for long long time oo....^^

Hello i join bb just 1 year only. I meet many friend in bb, they all r very kind n helpful.
I join the band at april. i was very happy when i join band bcuz i can learn many thing at there. Before pesta, we have partise at sunday. all the band member came at every partise bcuz we wan to get prize at pesta matching band competition. finaly, we get third at pesta n we fell very happy.
